Moss Putt
About Moss Putt
Moss Putt is a mini golf game with 18 holes. Pull back to aim, let go to putt, and bank the ball off walls to reach the cup. Later holes add more walls and patches of sand that slow the ball, so the straight line is rarely the best one.
How to play
- Press anywhere on the course and drag back. The ball will roll the opposite way.
- The longer you drag, the harder the putt. Let go to hit the ball.
- On a keyboard, use Left and Right to aim, Up and Down to set power, and Space to putt.
- Sink the ball to unlock the next hole. Retry starts the current hole again.
Par on every hole
Holes 1 to 3 are par 2, holes 4 to 12 are par 3 and holes 13 to 18 are par 4. Every hole is checked before you play it, so par can always be reached. Holes from 4 onwards are built to need a bank shot or a second putt, so expect to use a wall or lay up first, although a lucky hole in one is still possible. Finishing a hole in one under par earns a birdie, and two under is an eagle.
Do not hit it too hard
A ball that reaches the cup too fast rolls straight over it. If your aim is good but the ball keeps skipping past, use less power. A firm putt that would stop a short way past the cup is usually right. The aim line turns orange near full power as a reminder that the ball is moving fast.
Bank shots
Walls and the edges of the course bounce the ball back at roughly the angle it arrived, but it loses some speed with each bounce. To reach a cup hidden behind a wall, imagine the cup mirrored on the far side of the edge you want to use, and aim at that mirrored point. Leave some extra power for every bounce on the way.
Sand slows the ball
From hole 7, sand patches appear, and holes 13 to 18 have two of them. A ball in sand slows down about four times as fast as on grass. Sand right before the cup can help you stop a fast ball, but sand on the way usually leaves you short. When you can, go around it.
Lay up when it helps
On longer holes, the best first putt often ends somewhere with a clear line to the cup, not near the cup itself. Look for an open spot past the walls and roll the ball there gently. A simple straight second putt is easier to judge than a long bank shot under pressure.
Progress
Each hole you sink unlocks the next one, and your progress is saved in this browser. Use the arrows in the top bar to replay any hole you have unlocked and chase a better score.
