Memory games
Memory games test how much you can hold in your head, from the position of a tile to the order of a sequence. Each one starts gently and gets harder the further you go.

Three kinds of memory
Each memory game trains a different skill. Chime Path tests sequence memory: pads light up and play a note in order, and you repeat the tune. Glyph Recall tests where things are: find matching pairs among face-down tiles after a short look at the whole board. Star Chart tests visual memory: stars flash on a grid for a moment, and you tap every spot where one appeared.
How they get harder
Chime Path adds one step every round and plays a little faster, and once the sequence reaches eight steps the ring of pads turns after each round. Glyph Recall grows from a 3×4 board to 6×6 over 20 levels, and from level 11 hidden tiles can swap places after missed guesses. Star Chart grows from a 3×3 grid to 7×7, adds a star each level and shortens the glimpse from 1.6 seconds to 0.8.
Tips that work in all three
Group what you see into chunks. A tune of nine notes is easier to hold as three groups of three, and five stars are easier to hold as one shape than as five dots. Say colours or numbers to yourself as they appear. When a game shows you the board first, focus on one area instead of trying to take in everything. In Glyph Recall, turn over a tile you have never seen when you do not know a pair yet, because every new tile tells you something. In Star Chart, tap the stars you are least sure of first, while the picture is still fresh. Your best results are saved in your browser.
Scores and progress
In Chime Path your score is the longest sequence you repeat, and one wrong pad ends the game. You can play with the keys 1 to 6 and turn the sound off if you need to play quietly. Glyph Recall has 20 levels, each with a par of about 1.6 moves for every pair, and clearing a level unlocks the next one. Star Chart gives you three lives: a wrong square ends the round and costs a life, but you keep your level, and every completed round adds its stars to your score.
